I voted NO on M66 and 67, but why doe this remind me of the brat who takes his ball and leaves when he doesn’t get his way?
Actually, Terry, this reminds me of a victim fleeing after being beaten, robbed and raped by a bunch of immoral thugs.
Predicted results of Oregon’s new tax hikes:

While I feel badly for those Oregonians who approach fiscal responsibility with a common-sensical approach and now have to endure the abject economic misery the city and state WILL feel, I for one am damn happy that now, for once those uber-leftist, Hugo Chavez types who thought that the two measures made sense will actualy have to deal with unemployment rates reaching over 60%, with inflation at levels so high, their downright obscene.
I want the uber-socialist run and controlled Democrat Party to feel the pain they’ve put so many others through with their years and years of poverty inducing tax & spend ideologies, regardless of how twisted and delusional they truly are.
At least the one good thing to come out of the inevitable economic meltdown for Portland and the State of Oregon - finally a massive changing of the power base in Salem will occur and only then will the economic healing begin and not a minute sooner.
Without a doubt, the socialist/communist voting bloc of Oregon showed it’s abject stupidity and mind numbing intellectual dishonesty, deeply and irreparably embarrassing the state.
Why is this shocking? It’s called “mobility” — people can pick up and flee to another state. You can’t simultaneously hate businesses and love the jobs they create, sorry.
Just a shadow of what is to come. My wife and I asked ourselves we do we need to stay. We can just as well operate from Washington. Our personal taxes would be reduced as well. Sure thee is a sales tax, but with no income tax, it would more than make up for it.
